Friday 15th April 2011 Rolampont

-1.0°C overnight. Sunny and warm, still cold wind. The cruiser left before we were out of bed at 8.30 a.m. Mike went back into Langres in the car to La Poste. Success! The thermostat had arrived, but it took him ages to get it as the staff had got the name wrong. He gave the supervisor the supplier’s name to look to see if they had a package from them and told her he was expecting a thermostat from them. She had the packet but it was addressed to Mike Brack! He had to sign a book and open the package to show her that he knew what was inside because his name on his passport didn’t match the name on the package! What a game. It took him only a few minutes to fit it. Then he rang Paul. OK to go over today. Yes. Had a text from Floan, they were at St Dizier. Told them we were at Rolampont for a few days. Hopefully Mike will be back Saturday. At 2.30 p.m. he went off to St Jean-de-Losne. He sent me a text when he got there to say that Paul’s boat was at H20. Limin’ Times was sold (for sale at 72€k) and Hoddy Dod was for sale at 67€k.
